Postseason | Sample Ballot

When accessing a postseason ballot, the voter will first see any directions or notes that the conference admin entered during the setup process. Below that is a list of all the awards that will be voted on in an accordion format, with the number of votes they have left to cast on the right. 

Awards Display

When clicking on one of the awards, it will expand, pause for a few seconds while all the info loads and then display all nominees along with their overall and conference only stats. 

Filtering Stats

Below the award title are tiles of the stat groups that are displaying. A voter can toggle that stat group on/off by clicking on the tile.

Casting Votes

To cast a vote, click on the individual’s name that you want to vote on and they will appear in an area below the award under the title “votes cast”. 

The number to the left of their name is the current rank for that player. Most ballots will ask for a voter to rank their votes 1-x after choosing them. To do this, simply drag and drop the bar until the names appear in the desired order. 

When ready to move onto the next award, you can click on the award title bar to close it and then open the next one or just leave all open. The platform retains each vote until the window is closed or the ballot is submitted. 

Submitting a Ballot

When all done with the ballot, click on the Submit button in the bottom right corner and then confirm in the dialogue window that pops up. 

If by chance you did not submit a complete ballot, you will instead receive a message noting that you are attempting to submit a complete ballot and can either confirm to still submit or click review to see which awards still need to be vote on. 

Clicking review will then display all awards missing votes in red. 

Note: If there are circumstances where a voter needs to submit an incomplete ballot, they can click confirm and it will submit. 

Recast

After a ballot has been submitted, but before the voting process has ended, the voter will have the ability to recast their votes. 

This essentially means they can review the ballot and choose to make any changes. 

Note: This option would also work if the coach wanted to “save” their ballot before it is finalized.
